I look far into the distance as if rest comes from the horizon. 

I dream of provision, wealth, and pleasure as if these things bring rest. They do not. 

Rest is the acceptance of yourself and your circumstances. Rest says I’m alright and will be alright because everything is okay. 

Rest is birthed out of contentment and the optimism that says good will come. 

Rest takes faith.
